The overall turnout in the election reached 68,21 % with analysts defining it as relatively high. Over 3.007 thousand Slovaks voted. Mail voters from abroad scored almost 2%. According to the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic, this is the fourth highest turnout out of the nine elections held in Slovakia.
