The election moratorium in the snap general election in Slovakia had to be extended by 40 minutes. It lasted until 10:40 p.m. on Saturday, 30 September, all over Slovakia. The reason was the extension of voting in one of the electoral wards in Bratislava's borough of Petrzalka due to health complications of one of its committee members, who had to be treated by paramedics. Paramedics were also called to Povazska Bystrica, central Slovakia, to save a 78-year-old man. "Despite the efforts of the crew, the man couldn't be saved," they stated. Paramedics registered by 6 p.m. on Saturday, 12 ambulance callouts in connection with the snap general election, the Emergency Medical Service's operation centre posted on a social network.
