Slovakia's Police Corps, led by President Stefan Hamran, is actively working to prevent election corruption ahead of the snap general election on September 30. They have launched investigations into cases of electoral corruption but have not filed any charges yet. The police are committed to prosecuting any corruption during the election. Vice-president Damian Imre urged people to report suspicions of election corruption at 158 or the nearest police station. An election moratorium is in place, prohibiting campaigning and the publication of opinion polls. In total, 24 political parties and one coalition are participating in the election.
