A group of 469 students from Bratislava region was presented with the prestigious international Duke of Edinburgh Award (DofE) on Wednesday, September 27. As part of the project, students programmed 3D animations, ran half-marathons, recorded podcasts, learned languages or helped seniors. One of the awardees was Martin Kojda, a student at a Bratislava grammar school, who managed a space for young Ukrainians who were unable to get to schools. The award ceremony was held with British Ambassador Nigel Baker and Bratislava Regional Authority officials in attendance.
