The Aviation Unit of Slovak Interior Ministry in cooperation with partners from Slovakia and abroad built the EURACARE flight and shelter air evacuation module. The process of its creation was completed by obtaining certification from the European Commission under the EU Civil Protection Mechanism during last week's exercise in Turkey. The air evacuation module is the result of an EU-funded project. After successful certification, the module will be included in the database of certified teams under the EU Civil Protection Mechanism. In this way, Slovakia significantly strengthens the EU's capacity to manage emergencies.
