The election campaign has been marked by verbal and personal attacks between politicians and even skirmishes with voters from other parties. President Zuzana Caputova and acting Prime Minister Ludovit Odor have indirectly called on politicians to show more responsibility. Experts expect the divisions in society to deepen before the elections. Another problem is that young people do not know who to vote for. While 52 percent of young people would have voted in April, in August the figure was 16 percentage points higher. This is according to a Focus survey conducted in September. However, many of them still do not know who to vote for this year, or whether to vote at all. The main reason, they say, is frustration or demotivation. Some are still undecided less than a week before the election.
