Slovak President Zuzana Čaputová addressed the Climate Ambition Summit at the UN General Assembly, highlighting Slovakia's efforts to combat climate change by increasing the use of zero-emission electricity and committing to reduce emissions by 55 percent by 2030. Additionally, she emphasized the ongoing conflict in Ukraine as a major contributor to global conflict-related deaths.
