Slovakia's Alex Kanderka and Jozef Jabczun, representing the Association for Youth, Science, and Technology, secured third place in the EU Contest for Young Scientists in Brussels, where 136 young scientists from 36 countries competed over five days. They advanced to this international contest after excelling in the nationwide finals of the 25th Science and Technology Festival in 2022. This competition, initiated by the European Commission in 1989, promotes collaboration among young scientists and provides guidance from prominent European researchers.
