Foreign Minister Miroslav Wlachovsky held talks with his counterpart from Liechtenstein Dominique Hasler in Bratislava on Monday. The ministers discussed the development of bilateral relations between Slovakia and Liechtenstein, especially the possibilities of deepening economic cooperation, where, according to both parties, there is untapped potential in several directions.
Liechtenstein has long-term investments in research and development for the production of high-quality technological products. "I'm glad that the investments of several companies from Liechtenstein are creating jobs in Slovakia. However, we agreed with the minister that there is room for even more intensive economic or investment cooperation, especially in the field of modern IT technologies, the use of renewable energy sources but also in banking or cyber security," Minister Wlachovsky said following the meeting. The head of Slovak diplomacy also discussed with the Liechtenstein minister the ongoing Russian military aggression against Ukraine.
