The upcoming snap general election in Slovakia will be monitored by observers from Slovenia, South Korea and the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR). Although basically anyone can monitor elections in the country if they notify the relevant election committee, only the two above-mentioned countries and one institution have reported their aim to the Interior Ministry so far. The snap election is due to take place on September 30. The election campaign started on June 9 and will officially end 48 hours prior to Election Day. A total of 24 political parties and movements plus one coalition of parties is running.
