The Interior Ministry is advising voters living abroad not to delay sending their ballot envelopes, as longer delivery times may apply. Ballots sent from abroad must reach the Ministry of Interior by September 29th at 12:00 noon. The Ministry has provided necessary voting materials to registered overseas voters, and if the original shipment is undeliverable, they can request a re-delivery. In the upcoming early parliamentary elections on September 30th, almost 73 thousand citizens have requested postal voting from abroad. Slovak citizens with permanent residency in Slovakia who miss the postal voting deadline can vote in person on election day in their place of permanent residence or another location using a voting certificate.
