People are petitioning for a ban on the use of shared scooters in cities. Tighter rules are also being demanded for private scooters. This is related to a tragic accident in Trenčín, where a 30-year-old scooter rider fatally struck a 63-year-old pedestrian. A change could come through an amendment to the road traffic law.
