The Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (STU) and Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST) in China have signed a memorandum of cooperation. The memorandum concerns STU's Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies and MUST's Faculty of Innovative Engineering, which have agreed to cooperate in exchanges of students and researchers. "We are continuing the trend of deepening cooperation with universities on the Asian continent, which have a high level of technology research and are valuable partners for us in the field of innovation, so necessary for the growth not only of our STU, but for the whole of Slovakia," stated the STU’s rector Oliver Moravcik. He added that the systematic building of relationships with Asian leaders in digitisation strengthens the university's position as a regional leader in IT education and IT innovation.
