Slovakia still needs to utilize remaining euro funds

During the program period of 2014-2020 up to August 18, 2023, Slovakia has tapped into a significant portion of the allocated EU funds from a total pool. The upcoming months are set to witness the utilization of the remaining funds for specific purposes, including addressing energy crises, aiding Ukrainian refugees, and executing agreed-upon projects by March 2024. A central approach in optimizing fund utilization involves ensuring that recipient projects are completed before the end of this year. Additionally, Slovak strategies encompass harnessing European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF) within key programs like the Integrated Regional Operational Program, Human Resources, and Integrated Infrastructure.
