Slovak firefighters return from Greece

Twenty Slovak firefighters have returned home after helping in Greece for almost two weeks. Since the beginning of August, Slovak firefighters were patrolling critical locations around the city of Olympia. Slovak firefighters were prepared for potential action, especially in forests, near monuments and in other locations of great importance to the Greeks. Slovakia also sent two teams to Greece in July as part of the so-called Prepositioning 2023 project to help fight extensive wildfires.
