Extraordinary House Session on Monday

Extraordinary House Session on Monday

An extraordinary parliamentary session over the National Criminal Agency (NAKA) raid, conducted as part of the operation Resolution, will be held on Monday, August 21, House Chair Boris Kollar announced on Thursday. The session was initiated by the opposition's Smer-SD party. Kollar’s nominees at the helm of the Slovak Intelligence Service have been charged. According to him, the law is being misused by a certain group in the law enforcement that eliminates anyone who stands in their way. As for the charges, levied against two individuals, of drafting a premeditated and untrue Slovak Intelligence Service report on the high-stakes corruption investigations by NAKA, Kollar claimed that the report was drafted in a lawful manner. He pointed out that the secret service is obliged to provide information on potential illegal activities and it had done so.
