Inflation in Slovakia under 10% after more than one year

Inflation in Slovakia fell to 9.7% in July, slowing to single digits after more than a year, indicate the data published by the Slovak Statistics office. The result was mainly influenced by a decline in food, energy and housing prices. Month-on-month inflation fell for the second time this year, by 0.3%.
 
As the Denník E pointed out
-        overall inflation fell for the fifth consecutive month in July.
-        Price growth in housing and energy fell to 8.4% in July, the lowest since December 2021.
-        The growth momentum in food prices has been slowing for four months, with them being 16.5% more expensive year-on-year in July.
-        Core inflation was 10.6% in July.
 
The daily also pointed to the fact that according to preliminary Eurostat data, in July Slovakia had the highest inflation in the Eurozone area again.
