Ballot for General election from abroad must be received by 29 September

The return envelope containing the ballot paper for the Slovak General Election must be sent by the voter from abroad and delivered to the Slovak Interior Ministry by 12.00 noon on 29 September.
 
If the voter has applied electronically, he or she will receive a voting envelope, a return envelope and instructions on how to vote. The ballot papers must be downloaded from the Interior Ministry’s website and printed by the voter. If voters requested to vote by post in writing, they  will receive a ballot paper in addition to the envelopes.
The return envelope with the ballot paper must be sent so that it reaches the Registry of the Ministry in Bratislava no later than 12.00 noon on Friday 29 September. "It can also be sent from the territory of the Slovak Republic or delivered to the registry office of the Ministry of the Interior of the Slovak Republic," said the Ministry.
 
The Ministry also clarified that on Friday 29 September in the afternoon, municipalities and towns in the Slovak Republic will receive the lists of voters who voted by post. These voters have to be struck off the voters' list in the municipality.
According to the Ministry of Interior, voters who have requested to vote from abroad and will eventually be in Slovakia may not send the mail and come to the polling station to vote.
Early parliamentary elections will be held on Saturday, 30 September. 72,993 citizens have requested to vote by post from abroad. There are 24 political parties and movements and one coalition. The election campaign started on 9 June and ends with a 48-hour electoral moratorium.
