Lifting of State of Emergency discussed

Representatives of individual ministries held talks at the Government Office on the potential lifting of COVID-19 emergency state on Thursday. The talks were the first in a series of meetings held by a working group. As the Prime minister’s spokesperson Peter Majer informed, the aim was to make sure that a potential lifting of the emergency state won't have a negative impact on citizens. The working group is made up of representatives of ministerial legal departments. In effect since March 12, 2020, the government has declared state of emergency over the COVID-19 pandemic and later due to mass influx of refugees fleeing the war in Ukraine.
