More than three quarters of Slovaks want more support for sports from the future government

More than three quarters of Slovaks (77.4 percent) think that the next government should increase investments in sports from the state budget, more than 46 percent are convinced of this. This follows from a survey by the AKO agency for the news television JOJ 24 - the Electoral Encyclopedia show. On the contrary, less than a fifth of the respondents (18.3 percent) think that the government should not give more of the state money to sports, and less than seven percent are sure about it.

Those who think that the future government should increase investments in sports from the state budget are mostly voters of the parties Hlas-SD, Smer-SD, SNS, Sme rodina, Progresívne Slovensko. Older respondents and people with permanent residencein the Košicky, Prešovský, Banskobystricky, and Trenčín regions also prevail with this opinion.
