Some 2,500 new jobs in the production of components for the car industry and medical equipment, as well as into IT and shared services centres should be created in Slovakia in the upcoming period.
According to the Slovak Agency for Development of Investments and Trade (SARIO), which has already signed agreements with foreign companies in this respect, most projects will go to regions with high levels of unemployment. The main investors are from Germany and Austria.
