The Slovak men’s double kayak (K2) team composed of Erik Vlček and Juraj Tarr celebrated a double gold at the world championship in Moscow over the weekend. After their triumph at the 1000 meter race they performed as the best also in the 500 meter race. “One team winning two gold medals is a bit of a shock for us all”, said Filip Petrla, director of the Slovak association of canoe sprint.
