Slovakia remains ready to continue dialogue and cooperation with China, Foreign Affairs Minister Miroslav Wlachovsky said on Tuesday at a meeting with China's extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador to Slovakia Sun Lijie. Wlachovsky received the Chinese ambassador in connection with the end of his diplomatic mission in Slovakia.
"We value constructive and balanced relations, primarily oriented towards economic cooperation. They are slowly reaching the pre-pandemic level, for which the outgoing ambassador also deserves credit," said Wlachovsky.
The minister added that, in addition to trade, it is necessary for cooperation to continue in other areas, including climate change, global food security and disarmament.
