More than 25,000 Slovaks want to vote from abroad. So far, Slovaks from over a hundred countries have applied for the opportunity to vote abroad in September's elections. Voting by mail can be requested electronically or by letter until August 9th. According to the ministry, approximately one-third of the applications have come from the Czech Republic. The second-highest number of applications, comprising 13 percent, is from the United Kingdom, followed by Germany with ten percent. The top three countries with the highest number of applications are then Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, the USA, Belgium, France, and Ireland.
