The Smer-SD party, which was the strongest party in parliament from 2006 to 2020, would win the General election with 19.4 percent, according to a poll by the Ipsos agency for the daily Denník N. Second would be the extra-parliamentary Progresívne Slovensko with 15.9 percent, ahead of extra-parliamentary Hlas-SD, which split from Smer-SD and would convince 14.9 percent of potential voters. The fourth place would go to the Republika party (with 8.6 percent), which split from a far right party. The currently strongest party OĽaNO, which is running in coalition with the Christian Union and Za ľudí, would win 7.1 percent of the vote, followed by Sme rodina (6.4 percent) and Christian Democrats (with 5.9 percent). The Slovak National Party and Sloboda a Solidarita would also enter parliament, both of which would get 5 percent each.
A snap election in Slovakia is set to take place on September 30.
