Foreign Minister confirms no agreement in EU on €20 billion for Ukraine

After a session of the Council of the EU for Foreign Affairs in Brussels on Thursday, chief of Slovak diplomacy Miroslav Wlachovsky informed that EU foreign affairs ministers didn't talk about the specific €20 billion that the EU is supposed to pay to Ukraine. The sum is to be paid within the next four years in order to support its war effort. The summit revolved around the need to provide Ukraine with continued economic, humanitarian and military aid. The ministers also touched on EU-Turkey ties in the wake of the recent Turkish presidential election. In addition, they had a video conference with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, in which the good quality of trans-Atlantic ties was confirmed. Wlachovsky pointed to the unity that both sides of the trans-Atlantic partnership have been demonstrating in various fields.
