Five EU countries to extend ban on Ukrainian wheat

Agriculture ministers of Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria, and Romania signed a joint declaration in Warsaw supporting wheat transportation but maintaining a ban until the end of 2023. The ministers signed a joint declaration in Warsaw on Wednesday ahead of EU discussions on the issue scheduled for next week in Brussels. The declaration says they support the continuation of grain shipments from Ukraine through their territory, but will maintain the ban on imports into their countries until the end of 2023.
