Premier Ludovit Odor on Tuesday received the heads of diplomatic missions from other EU countries in Slovakia to discuss Bratislava's stances on issues concerning Europe. As he explained, the country wants not only to benefit from EU membership, but also to contribute in solidarity to the development of other countries. The talks also focused on EU enlargement.
According to the prime minister, Slovakia has been actively raising the topic of future EU enlargement and was among the first to talk about the prospect of membership for Ukraine. As he added, Slovakia is ready to share its experience in accession negotiations with Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia and the Western Balkan countries. At the same time, the premier and ambassadors discussed domestic developments, such as fighting disinformation and the talent drain.
