Last year showed the need to focus on the crisis management of the state, an improvement of its structure as well as consistent the implementation and updating of valid directives and measures, according to the Report on the State of Slovakia's Security for 2022, which the government took note of on Thursday.
Last year, the COVID-19 pandemic and Russia's invasion of Ukraine had the most significant impact on security in Slovakia. The military conflict triggered the biggest wave of migration in Europe since the end of the Second World War, which greatly affected the activities of the government, state administration and local authorities, the report points out.
