Survey: adoption is the least supported right for lgbti+ communities

According to a survey conducted by NMS Market Research Slovakia, the ability of same-sex couples to adopt children is the least supported right for LGBTI+ communities in Slovakia. Only 27 percent of respondents would support adoption, with women, people under 34 and residents of the Bratislava region being the most likely to support it. Thirty-nine percent of respondents would prefer to maintain the status quo. The possibility of introducing civil partnerships as an alternative to marriage, but only for opposite-sex couples, was supported by 17 percent of respondents. Six out of ten Slovaks agree that same-sex couples should be able to inherit from each other, and almost two-thirds (64 percent) would support the possibility of seeing the medical records of such couples. The online survey was conducted from June 2 to June 8 in honor of Pride Month, with a sample of 1,012 respondents over the age of 18.
