The Clerk Act of the Year 2022 award has been given to an educational team of the National Bank of Slovakia (NBS) for raising financial literacy through a project called 5Peňazí translated as the 5 Money. The winning team helps people from excluded communities and trains mentors who work with poor families. It also provides practical help for affected families. "They go through their household budgets, examine their liabilities and advise them on how they can recover," said Veronika Hincová Frankovská from the Institute for a Well-Governed Society.
The Clerk Act of the Year is organised by the Institute for a Well-Governed Society in cooperation with the Goodwill Clerks Club. The aim of the award is to highlight the stories of civil servants who contribute to the improvement of public services in Slovakia.
