Children in re-education centres will receive as much as 20 percent more money for food, according to the Education Minister Peter Pellegrini. Thus their daily allowance would reach €3.60.
The statement came after a meeting with Ombudswoman Jana Dubovcová who officially complained about living conditions in re-education centres. About 800 teaching assistants should also begin working with pupils in these centres.
