Slovakia ranked 63rd in gender equality

Slovakia is ranked 63rd in the World Economic Forum's global assessment of gender equality between men and women. Compared to the previous year, it has improved by four places. This is according to the ranking compiled by the World Economic Forum.
 
In the survey of political equality between men and women, which examined the number of women in ministerial positions or in legislatures, Slovakia ranked 80th. However, the Slovak Republic improved in the question of pay for equal work between men and women, jumping from 102nd to 86th place.
Iceland topped the rankings, followed by Norway, Finland, New Zealand and Sweden.
