President Zuzana Caputova will announce her decision regarding her re-election candidacy at the beginning of next week. Caputova's five-year term in office ends in 2024. The majority of political parties in the country are not currently dealing with the presidential election, according to their statements, as their main priority at this time is the upcoming general election. Some parties are waiting for Caputova's decision, with Freedom and Solidarity (SaS), for instance, claiming that they will support her if she runs for re-election.
