Had a general election taken place in early June, it would have been won by Smer-SD on 19 percent of the votes, according to recent a poll carried out by Ako agency on behalf of private television channel Joj. Smer would have been followed by Hlas-SD on 17.2 percent and Progresivne Slovensko on 14.4 percent of the votes. Other parties to make it into Parliament would have included SaS, OLaNO, Republika, the Christian Democratic KDH and Sme rodina. The survey took place between June 6 and June 9 and was carried out on a sample of 1,000 respondents.
