President Caputova sends condolences to India

Slovak President Zuzana Caputova sent a telegram of condolence to her Indian counterpart Droupadi Murmu in connection with the Friday's train crash in the state of Odisha in eastern India that claimed many lives and left a large number of people injured. "On behalf of the people of Slovakia, the president in the telegram expressed her sincere sympathies to the families and loved ones of the victims, and wished a speedy recovery to the injured," said the president's spokesman Martin Strizinec. At least 288 people were killed in the train collision. Another 850 people suffered injuries.
