The French president Emmanuel Macron is visiting Slovakia at a time when Paris and Bratislava are celebrating the 30th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral relations and the 15th anniversary of a strategic partnership. Macron said in Bratislava that France cares about the region of central and Eastern Europe and considers all EU-member states, big or small, to be equally important. Prime Minister Ludovit Odor received the French President at the Government Office on Wednesday, where they discussed among other things the further development of bilateral relations, especially in the field of energy. Macron during his visit to Slovakia also met President Zuzana Caputova and spoke at the Globsec 2023 Bratislava Forum conference.
