In 2022, the Office for Slovaks Living Abroad approved 906 applications to support the projects of compatriots living abroad. The amount of almost 2.5 million EUR was granted for the activities in the field of education, culture, information and publishing and media. This stems from the 2022 Report on the state policy in relation to Slovaks living abroad, the state support and the draft programme of the state policy in relation to Slovaks living abroad for the year 2024.
