Former education minister Ján Horecký is joining the extra-parliamentary Christian Democratic Movement (KDH). "For me, the soundness and predictability of KDH is the best alternative to superficiality, to politics based on first impressions and coarse-grained communications. KDH doesn't divide people and doesn't side only with one part of society. It's ready to contribute to the prosperity of all and to a better future for the whole country," said Horecký. His priorities include seeing through a reform of the curriculum and a system for supporting both pupils and teachers. He stressed the need to reassess the system for financing and managing universities and schools in regions, as well as research facilities.
