Eduard Kukan is the new chairman of European Parliament’s delegation for Serbia

Member of European Parliament Eduard Kukan (EPP/SDKÚ-DS) will be the chairman of the European Parliament’s delegation for Serbia. “As chairman of the parliamentary delegation for Serbia I will face many challenges in the integration process. I will be a helpful and thus also a critical friend of Serbia,” Kukan said.

In the previous term, Kukan was the Chairman of delegation for relations with Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro and Kosovo. This delegation doesn’t exist anymore, as Kukan explains: “The situation in every country is different. Accession negotiations are underway only in Serbia and Montenegro; therefore each country requires a special individual approach.”
