Boat line Twin City Liner, which connects Bratislava and Vienna via the Danube River, transported its two millionth passenger from the Austrian capital to Bratislava on Wednesday. According to Izabella Kubikova, the head of the company that represents the line in Slovakia, the ratio of passengers who have purchased a ticket from Vienna to Bratislava and vice versa is approximately 1:1, with the majority of passengers purchasing only a one-way ticket. The Austrians are among the most common foreign visitors to Bratislava, ranking among the top five every year. In 2022, they were second only to the Czechs.
