Germany plans to terminate the deployment of its Patriot air defence system in Poland and Slovakia, TASR press agency informed following a DPA news. The deployment from Poland should take place in June while in Slovakia it should be done by the end of this year. DPA noted that the Bundeswehr deployed two of its Patriot systems in Slovakia in March 2022. It has to be brought back to Germany for technical maintenance. Berlin is planning to send to Slovakia two Mantis air defence systems.
