Daffodil Day is a day of hope for cancer patients also thanks to all the volunteers in the streets, President Zuzana Caputova stated in her post on Facebook to mark Daffodil Day on Thursday. For the 27th time, volunteers have been handing out yellow daffodils in the streets and collecting finances to support the Daffodil Day fundraiser, organised by the League Against Cancer, with an eye towards helping cancer patients. About 40,000 patients are diagnosed with cancer in Slovakia every year.
