The engineering company KOVAL SYSTEMS based in Belusa (Zilina region) will participate in the production of Swedish CV90 tracked armoured combat vehicles. Representatives of the Slovak firm signed a contract with the Swedish company BAE Systems Hagglunds on Wednesday. The company from Belusa will be engaged in the production and complete assembly of turrets and the production of vehicle components. They plan to build a new hall and hire an additional 60 people in connection with the contract. It estimates the investment at €10 million. The Swedish company will supply 152 vehicles to the Slovak Army in several variants. The production of vehicles will begin soon, with the first of them being manufactured in Sweden.
