MPs Seliga and Zitnanska leave Za ludi party

MPs Juraj Seliga and Jana Zitnanska have announced on their respective Facebook accounts that they are quitting the For the People party. Neither MP addressed their political future in more detail, however, with Seliga claiming that he wants to announce his decision after Easter. Zitnanska reported that she officially left the party last week. "I don't see my political future converging with OLaNO and I don't want to be an obstacle for those colleagues who feel that way. And as for whether there will be any political future for me, that will be decided, among other matters, by further conversations, especially with my closest ones," she wrote. Meanwhile, Seliga noted that he was among the co-founders of the party. "The party has reached another crossroads over time and it has decided to go down a path that I can no longer follow. My idea of preserving Za ludi as the party that I co-founded with ex-president Andrej Kiska turned out to be naive," he remarked. Both Seliga and Zitnanska were members of the Za ludi leadership.
