Around 52 cars lied in ashes on Sunday at the Vincov Les thermal swimming pool complex near Sládkovičovo in the Trnava region, Fire and Rescue Corps Presidium spokesperson Zuzana Farkašová told TASR on the same day.
According to Farkašová, a fire that emerged in a nearby field also swallowed the holidaymakers' cars. Almost 20 fire-fighters from Galanta, Sereď, Šaľa, and Senec were despatched to tackle the fire. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
