The construction of the D3 highway in the Kysuce region might be completed, in an optimistic scenario, by 2029 or 2030, interim Defence Minister Andrej Dolezal (We Are Family nominee) conceded in Krasno nad Kysucou on Wednesday. Dolezal added that he cannot guarantee such a timetable, however. "A feasibility study is currently taking place and we're expected to learn its results this autumn, when the outcome of the environmental impacts assessment will become available too," said Dolezal. He added that politicians have been talking about the D3 highway construction for 23 years, but the real preparation for the construction works has begun only now.
