Parliamentary Chair Boris Kollar (Sme Rodina) stated following his meeting with Czech President Petr Pavel on Wednesday that he wants both Slovakia and the Czech Republic to be engaged in the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine.
"As we're helping Ukraine now, we'll insist and demand from Ukraine that if there's post-war reconstruction, both Slovakia and the Czech Republic should be engaged in it," he said, adding that correct and noble aid for Ukraine is the first step. "The second one is reconstruction, and we'll insist on sitting at the table so that [Czech and Slovak] companies and economies can be driven by this process in return for providing aid," noted Kollar.
