Jaguar Land Rover Slovakia will create 300 new jobs at its Nitra plant, the carmaker's HR director Igor Francek told TASR on Monday, adding that strengthening the car company's production capacities will create dozens more jobs among its suppliers. The creation of new jobs is related to the launch of new weekend shifts at the body shop and the paint shop. The measure is aimed at ensuring that production will be stable in response to ever-increasing customer interest in vehicles manufactured at the Nitra plant so that the balance between employees' working and family lives will also be maintained, stated Francek. The new shifts should come into being in May of this year. The upcoming new weekend shifts will only be introduced at the body shop and the paint shop. They will last ten hours, including breaks.
