Interim Prime Minister Eduard Heger leaves OLANO party

Interim Prime Minister Eduard Heger announced on Facebook on Monday evening that he's leaving OLaNO party, noting that he has his own vision of politics. "My role and mission in OLaNO has been accomplished. I have my own vision of politics. I know that if I want to fulfill it, I have to go my own way," wrote Heger. The premier described his time in OLaNO as one of the most important milestones in his life. "I've been given trust and an opportunity to be part of a government and later to lead our country. My journey with OLaNO was long, we experienced both challenging times and good times. We also made mistakes because we aren't perfect, because we are only human beings," he remarked, wishing OLaNO all the best in its political future. OLaNO leader Igor Matovic thanked Heger for their shared journey and wished him good luck in the comments section. Together with Eduard Heger, Defence Minister Jaroslav Nad is also leaving OLANO party. The new project of the interim Prime Minister Eduard Heger will be called Demokrati or Democrats. He announced this at a press conference on Tuesday. Heger will be its leader.
